Great place to stop. Kid friendly ...great little place to stop an have a adventure for the day . Staff is very helpful an the restrooms are clean. Lots of small nick nacks to buy . Kids will love it. The weather is great an there are a lot of picture opportunities outside .
The staff is friendly and helpfull! The man who runs the place is full of knowledge so ask your geology questions here. Did the mining for stone with my daughter he helped her and answered all her question. Fun place and worth the stop!!
The inside of the shop is in the cave, you can't go all the way in anymore but it is still awesome to see. They have some really cool fines in there. They have a small museum that had some really cool displaces. With going in.
Loved it my girls had so much fun and we enjoyed the museum.. As well as the treasure gem where my girls had too shake out it in a box thingy forgot exactly what it was called lol and they found all kinds of gems on there quest.. Thank you so much it's really a great quick stop and relax before entering Ruidoso and everyone was extremely nice and friendly ...I've added a few photos thank you all so much we had a great time while we stopped too check it out was worth the stop..

This place is awesome! To start out, the employees are very friendly. This place has a huge variety of minerals, stones, necklaces, braces, salt lamps, and a hole bunch of other stuff. They got a museum outside the shop and a bunch of things for awesome pictures. Definelty worth a stop when you are near Ruidoso.
